physiological point: In the human body exercise causes the adrenal gland to secrete
the hormone adrenaline. Adrenaline then causes the secretion of the male hormone,
testosterone.
The extra testosterone secreted into women's bodies through exercising
contributes --- to varying degrees depending upon the individual woman --- to a gender
shift (i.e., some loss of feminine characteristics)? |
