You earn money.
You keep some and you give some to government in the form of taxes.

2. Why do you think it is so difficult for people to understand the following fact?
       "When taxes are cut, people have more money left in their pockets so then they can buy more stuff, and then businesses can hire more people to make more stuff to sell.  Businesses then make more money and pay more in taxes to the government."

8. What do you think:  Instead of taking money from successful people in the form of taxes and having the government redistribute that money, we do the following:

    Let's decrease the gap between the rich and the poor by encouraging the poor to get educated, get jobs and get wealthier.

11.  When speaking about the Bush's proposed tax cut Congressional leader Tom Daschle stated that if you make over $300,000 you get a enough of a tax cut to buy a Lexus and if you make $50,000 you get enough of a tax cut to buy a muffler for your used car.

     In the USA we have a graduated income tax.  Do you think Daschle understands that the more you pay in taxes the more of a tax cut you receive?
