What It All Means To Us
Specifically about events & aftermath of September 11, 2001
Recently several of our market analysts, survey authors and philosophers were out for a walk at lunchtime.  Suddenly, screaming from our left and approaching rapidly was a massive red fire engine.  We all stopped, looked and heard it add very loud, shrill horns to its flashing lights.  As it approached and passed by we all were taken by the huge, fully unfurled American flag that the fire engine was carrying on its rear top deck.

We were so moved by this image....   Some of us commented.  Some went silent.  Some talked about this imagery throughout lunch.  We present below some of our thoughts and comments and ask if you 'Agree' or 'Disagree'.  This is not a test of anything unless you think it is.

1.  24 year old Cynthia said, "I think that fire engine could almost pass safely through
traffic without the horns, and lights.  Its flag would get it through."
