Today's Women Survey

Today's culture is populated with weak men and strident women.
The principle guiding today's women is, "The more aggressive I am, the more successful I will be"...  and forget about being a lady, forget about being attractive, forget about dressing well.  Slam the crudeness and full speed ahead!
Today's

Women

What Price Those New-found Rights?

A lady who responded to this survey made the following comment.
"Women are certainly using their hard-won gains to have the freedom to dress and look just as shabby as men.  A strident harshness has replaced their femininity. They demonstrate that they can be just as sorry as today's male. Congratulations ladies!  You've earned the right to wear sweats and walk around with a cigarette in your mouths and not feel the least bit uncomfortable about it.  Aren't you proud of yourselves?"

Hey, are any of these women enjoying their lives?
Oh yah, very much
Yah, kinda
Not really

FLASH Question:  Why do so many young women adjust their voices to sound raspy, whiney, and similar to a young girl? I haven't noticed this phenomenon.
I have noticed this and can't figure it out.
Because:

50 million may have "Hurried Woman Syndrome"

Rosalie Moscoe, a professional speaker and consultant, lectures in an attempt to empower corporate groups of women.  They are often busily working, rushing children to school, preparing dinner, and trying to find time for such things as shopping and a social life.  These women could be under stress and may suffer from the recently uncovered medical condition, "The Hurried Woman Syndrome."

Ms. Moscoe lists symptoms as fatigue, weight gain, low sex drive and moodiness.

Texas-based obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Brent Bost describes the illness in his book The Hurried Woman Syndrome, stating that 50 million women are infected in "epidemic proportions." He bases his estimate on surveys he conducted with other doctors.

He treats more than 200 women a year with the syndrome which he says is essentially minor depression.

I believe this is a valid syndrome
I believe this is just about their inability to organize their time
I believe it is a result of being unhappy in a personal relationship

See if you agree or disagree in general.
"Some people say that the women of today face so many challenges when it comes to everyday life and that they have to put up with men looking at them or whatever, when men actually have to go throughout the same ordeal, and women have gained much respect from most people in the last hundred years, they just have the mindset that they are still being persecuted, but they just need to settle down a little bit and stop worrying about everything, it is them that put all the pressure on themselves, not always men."

33.  Dear Ladies & Gentlemen:

As observers of why and where Western Civilization is going, please consider the following points.

A.) Why are so many women fascinated with low class behavior of other women?

B.) Why are so many women at war with men?  (For example, while driving, on the job, etc.)

C.) What do these women -- who approve of low class behavior of other women who are at war with men -- expect our culture to evolve into?

D.) Can you imagine what daily life will be after another five or so years of this mean-spirited, low class, high stress war that so many women are waging against men?

E.) What might Western Culture devolve into if all men were to become effeminate weaklings similar to what we see in many males today?

F.) If men are weakened and emasculated, who will conceptualize, invent, develop and implement science, philosophy, politics, the arts, and so much more that is Western Civilization?  ...And, who will fight the War Against Terrorism to protect the rights and privileges of women and children?  Or are burqas really comfortable?

Thanks for considering and evaluating.

I need to add:

June 4, 2003:  Dateline Our Culture:  Martha Stewart, whose experience includes working as a stock broker, mom, daughter, homemaker extraordinaire, corporate mogul, cultural icon, media expert, billionaire, Domestic Design Diva, was indicted on several counts which are based upon her having lied to the SEC, FBI, and investors & using news she learned in advance of the public to sell stock.  She panicked at some bad news about a biotech company and instantly sold before the news was made public and illegally sold her stock saving her $40,000.
What aspect of this phenomenon do you find most ridiculous?  (Select any one or more of the following.)
She only lied as everyone else does & should be set free.
She should be held accountable.
Even though she used private info, it's OK.

Martha thinks she is more special than she is.
For a $40,000 savings & lying she damaged her empire.
If Martha does it, I want to do it.

Wow, I never thought of that, but maybe I'll exercise a little less
