7. U. S. anti-trust law specifies that companies must compete fairly.  This does not mean that they must be nice to each other. Agree

8. On November 5, 2000, the judge stated among other "findings of fact" that Microsoft does have a monopoly.  It has yet to be determined what specific laws, if any, were broken and what remedies, if any, will be levied against Microsoft.

9. I wish the lawyers, users and everyone else could understand: The world operates best when there is one (1) operating system that becomes the defacto standard -- as Windows has.
A different browser can be selected by any user at any time time with a few minutes of work.
Bill Gates started Microsoft in 1975 with a good idea assumed risk, and therefore deserves his success.
